The Classes, the Summer, the Life

Today should happen more often. ;)

Got two tests back, and good scores all around. And I even finished my homework - before nine, to boot! I got home late, 'cause I had to go to a marketing experiment (required for the class), but I spent enough time sitting around that I finished most of my homework before I even walked in the door. I've discovered that Business textbooks are in sad need of editors. Not only was "in" used instead of "an," "years" was plural where it shouldn't have been, and "XYZ Corporation" showed up twice as "XWZ Corporation." That last one reduced me to stifled snickers as I tried to figure out how one could make a typo like that... they don't look at all similar, and the Y key is typed with the right index finger, versus the W key, which is typed with the left hand.

...That was totally nerdy, wasn't it?

Oh, and during the marketing experiment I actually shocked one of the administrators with how cheap I was. :) It's a talent. Or a product of my minimum-wage, minimum hours job that I'm not even working during the summer and my family. But anyway, 'twas entertaining. Besides, all the things they asked me how much I would spend to buy were terribly boring. Flowers, autographed Michael Jordan basketballs, autographed copies of books that I've never read... now, if they'd asked me how much I'd be willing to lay down for some quality comic books, we'd be in business.

classes, editing, rambling
