Palin doesn't give speeches, she preaches

It just hit me that one of the reasons I detest listening to Palin speak is because she doesn't give political speeches, she preaches. Next time you get the chance, listen to the cadence of her words (the words are, as usual, mostly meaningless). It's not Southern Baptist Preacher, but it's definitely From the Pulpit.

And it's damned annoying.

Earlier she was going on about a soldier who'd died and talking about the family and it just hit me that it sounded like a minister running through the 'prayer list' just before he started his sermon. (And sounding just about as bored with the whole thing.)
