The Words Are All Wrong, yet We Still Sing Along
My god, I haven't updated this thing in so long. I feel so bad.
I've been experimenting with the fine arts of Spartan living, minimalist cultural design, and delving a bit into Buddhist philosophy of taking only what you need to sustain yourself.
In other words, I've been dead broke.
It was the New Model Army show that did it. I really shouldn't have gone, but since when has Dax ever passed up a good show for finances? Hell, even when i was homeless I went to a fucking good show if there was one :-)
Things seem to have settled around here, what with the in-law finally gone. It didn't end well, but it ended, and for that I rejoice. Sweet, sweet solitude, how I've missed thee.
Yeah, solitude about sums it up. I haven't interacted with another human being outside of my own apartment or work in... weeks. Surely this isn't a good sign, but I did make myself a rather tasty chicken Gorgonzola calzone yesterday, so things are definitely looking up.
