So we're officially in the new place. As of... well, last Thursday, actually. My Internet was turned on this morning, and everything's more or less set up.
My apartment, by the way, if stunning. I'm so in love with it I'm not sure how to handle it. I keep looking around and thinking, "Can I afford this?" and then I remember that it's not a whole lot more than the last place was.
So, to all of my friends who have yet to see it, call me soon, so you can come see it. The housewarming party is in the near future, though I'm not sure quite when yet. But it'll be relatively soon, and I'll keep you all posted.
Outside of that, things have been absolutely smashing, and I have to say that I'm the happiest that I've been in a really, really long time. I have a great job, great friends, a great attitude these days, and now, a great home. 2008, you have fucking rocked so far.
We got a visit today at work from two students at Johnson and Wales University whom were the President and VP of the newly formed "Cheese Club" there. They asked if myself and Tonie would be interested in meeting with the club every two weeks and speak with them about cheese. Tonie said she wouldn't be able to do it more than once or twice because of her hectic schedule outside of work, but they asked if I would be interested in doing it throughout this semester and, depending on whether or not it goes over well at the school, next year as well. I said, without hesitation, yes.
I've been seeing a boy who is the loveliest boy in the world. End story.
I've been getting back into Tarot reading, and actually picked up my tarot cards for the first time in over a year about a week ago. I'm, really excited about this. Probably more than I should be, but nonetheless.
In short, I feel the most complete sense of contentment that I have felt in a really, really long time.
