So...met Luke's parents last night. Was super nervous but I did okay. I managed to only drop one item of dishware on the floor, so I'll consider it a success. They're really nice and they seem to like me. Apparently his mom thinks I'm cute. We ended up eating at Cafe Spice before seeing Doubt. Cafe Spice was really good, Doubt was even better. So it turned out to be quite the lovely evening.
Turned in the paperwork for my Film and TV doublemajor. I talked to Roxanne the other day (god I love that woman!) and she says that she knows that I'll be able to pull off two Tisch majors, a CAS minor, and studying abroad in Ghana for a semester all in four years. The second CAS minor might be a little sketchy, but I'm completely down with it if I can't fit it in. My friends, however, think I am crazy.
Dramatic Writing, Film and TV, Africana Studies, East Asian Studies, Ghana, why the hell can't I do all that? I'm paying a shitload of money to be at NYU and I'll be damned if I dont get my moneys worth! Working hard: it's what I do.
I'm living in Water Street next year. I'm kinda bummed that it's so damn far away, especially from Carlyle where pretty much all of my friends are dwelling, but I think it'll be good. Super nice, even.
Da-da-da what else? I've seen so many plays this past week. The First Year Play Festival, Threepenny Opera, The Cataract, Doubt. Can I just say that I love my major?
Later today is that nifty Bodies exhibit with Luke and his parents, followed by dinner. Tomorrow we go to Pennsylvania.
