Jack Lewis Thinks I'm a Hottie.
So I went to this concert at Webster Hall last night for this band playing. You know, the SILVER FUCKING JEWS on their first tour ever. Went with Luke, Harry, and Jacob. I must say, it was pretty much one of the most amazing experiences of my life. John Tully, some Irish man, and Beanz opened. John Tully was pretty boring but his name is pretty cool. Beanz was really good too but I don't think I could really listen to him.
David Berman said at one point "I want to be in a relationship with all you." And he and his wife are just so ridiculously in love and that made me incredibly happy. Jeffrey Lewis and his brother Jack were also there. Before and during John Tully's set, Jack kept looking at me and talking to his brother. That was a little weird, so I guess Jeffrey Lewis' brother thinks I'm hot. Or something. And David threw a drumstick he stole from his drummer into the audience and Jacob cought it.
It would have been even better had David remembered his own lyrics and didn't need a music stand with them written out for him, but it was still amazing. Especially when his contact lenses started falling out and he started freaking out with the music stand trying to see.
