ONE HUNDRED TWO

Apr 30, 2008 11:07

Well, at least I won't get bored, today. Telling the truth is a rare thing for yours truly, it's one of those... two, three things? Out of the millions upon millions of things I know, that I'm not too skilled at ( Read more... )

say hello to my ego, actual sweat, oshi-, puck, monogamous sex is rotting your brain, i cannot tell a lie, the truth will set you free, morals whut?, pucks suck (in the good way), freud wore women's panties, ho ho ho!, still reeling from the triplet story?, never say 1 word when 20 will do, sad puck is sad?, i like humans, heroism can be so banal, curse, meant to be sexually suggestive

[Have a Peri who hasn't looked at the network yet, for a change.]

A habit? It's become yet another exercise in isolation; particularly galling when directed at someone who already knows the truth. I don't like watching you forget yourself when you mean--

I spent a large section of my night cleaning the bar of the remains of something half-animated and now in pieces, specifically so the woman I pay to clean wouldn't have to see it.

...Wonderful.

You should really pay women to do other things, Ishiah, it'd lighten you up, a bit.

...Though, I would be somewhat disappointed in you, were that to be the case.

It would make a change from the usual scenario, wouldn't it. However, not exactly in my field of interest.

A man, then. You know what I mean. No reason to play coy or stupid. We've known each other long enough; you always know what I mean.

As you know and choose to overlook my own meaning, which had nothing to do with gender. I only ever play your games for your sake, not mine.

And that, I suppose, is why we’re irreconcilably different. You have my condolences, really.

If I thought they were irreconcilable I would have long since given up wasting my time.

See? Another difference. You keep on going, even after there isn't a reason in the world why you should. I don't waste my time. I do what pleases me. Your efforts aren't unappreciated, nor are they unwanted, but they are unneeded.

You've done nothing but waste your time until very recently, and as it stands worthwhile purpose remains a hobby. I'm aware that we have different definitions; yours is wrong.

You give me reasons.

I'm not wrong, I'm living. Don't worry; I don't expect you to know anything about that.

Is that an order or a statement? Either way, you're going to just be disappointed again.

It can't have escaped your notice that I am not dead either, nor have I come so close, so recently, with such a wide array of options when it comes to who might attempt to alter that. My methods don't require erasing everything that matters.

A statement, I know how you respond to orders. Of course, it's much easier to say that than to try.

I assume you're refering to me? Because while I'm just flattered by the thought, stubborn, bull-headed will isn't nearly as attractive as you seem to think it.

It's always easier to just talk than try something completely futile, where I know the end result, and, Ishiah, I don't much like it.
