Dean/Castiel Secret Santa, please? ;__;
You know what I really want to do right now? I want to sign up for a Dean/Castiel Secret Santa challenge! D: Like, really bad. Almost insanely bad, actually. DX I got into the urge when I was skimming through the Yuletide archive (Psych fics, mainly) and thinking about how
wendy_bird had signed up for a Secret Santa challenge too. I was just about to sign up for it when I realized that I could, quite possibly, fail at the fandom I choose to write for (they're rare or obscure fandoms like the Invisible Man or Psych).
Obviously, I'm not the most confidant with my writing skills. I don't write constantly or even very often. I'm probably rather rusty (even if I have been writing recently) and I don't want to write a fic for someone in a fandom I've never written in before-- just in case I completely fail the fic. I want to be at least someone sure that I can write the fic and not be horribly out of character, you know? ;___; I want them to enjoy it and not be disappointed.
That leaves me with the following fandoms to write it: Supernatural (I'd like too!), Stargate: Atlantis (NO! I will never be able to write a convincing Rodney! DX), Gundam Wing (would fail at), Harry Potter (Maybe... depends.), and Star Trek (too new with this and I'm struggling at it already). Since I'm currently obsessed with Supernatural, I'd like to write for it. My SPN OTP is Dean/Castiel. I'm relatively comfortable with the idea of this. I don't want to write Sam/Dean (I'm unsure of how to write Sam and he's really not one of my favorite characters... *shifty look*).
So, yeah, dilemna. What do I do? Are there any LJ Communities out there that I've somehow completely missed? D:
