Another video! Hooray!
So this vid is for the movie Mirrormask, which I'm sure plenty of people have never heard of before. It's a lovely film, and while it has some flaws, I adore the main, Helena Campbell. Visually, this is one of the prettiest films I've seen in a long time. So pretty in fact, that I made this video. I like to think that I'm progressing with each vid I make, so I hope that this is the best one yet. I think it is, but who knows.
For those of you who have not seen the movie, fear not, I think this vid is fairly accessible.

Notes: So if every vid I make is a chapter from a lesson plan, this vid would be entitled: "Splitting and Inter-cutting". Because while making this vid, I realized that pressing "s" will split a clip, which sounds like a small thing, but it was hugely important. This is similar to my first vid, in that this vid also had no plan, beyond "Must make vid about teh pretth, and also about Helena". I learned that, once again, I suck at planning ahead, and am apparently much more suited to improvising a vid as I work with the source material.
For anyone still confused about the plot of the movie, here's a short plot summary from
wiki: The film's story revolves around a young girl named Helena Campbell who is sick of her family's career as circus performers. Helena's mother is hospitalized after they have an argument, and Helena finds herself trapped in a fantasy world shortly after. Also, I should add that Neil Gaiman wrote the screenplay, and co-wrote the short story it was based on. Yeah.
The end! I love discussing vidding in general, so if anyone wants to talk about anything, anything at all related to vids, let me know. :)
