They say our attention span has gone to shit. Blah blah blah hell in a hand basket. Whatever. Society is better than it ever was. The only real social obstacle I see in the future that will require a long time and a large majority to overcome is the development of inorganic consciousness. How tragic it will be. For everyone. For everything. The human condition isn't really human. Just how universal is it all? Even if the right answer is already out there nobody fully understands it. And even when it is understood it's probably going to require a lot of reflection to realize it.
