So I went to my first yoga class last night. Not my first ever, but my first since my freshman year of college (which I dropped halfway through). It was cool. Mostly breathing/stretching. There were a couple poses I had trouble holding, but nothing too strenuous. It's a "gentle to moderate" class, so I figured that would be good to start with. AND ... Christine's in the class! We can meditate together now, heh. Except I'm not sure I'm capable of true, deep meditation. Whenever I've tried it (in a group setting or just on my own), I'm not sure I get the same experience/results other people do. Which makes me think I wouldn't be hypnotized easily. But now I'm straying from the original topic ...
Anyway, I think I'm going to like the yoga class. Of course, that's what I thought at UC Santa Cruz and then a few weeks later people were standing on their heads and I was like "I'm so done with this" (plus I had to get up early in the morning to go -- never a good sign). So we'll see.
Let's see ... what else ... I want to see "3:10 to Yuma" to see Christian Bale get westernized. I might go to Steve & Barry's (new store to NorCal) this weekend to check it out ... everything's under $20 ... right up my alley.
