Another post on HP
We were headed back from the Smashing Pumpkins concert in Santa Cruz last night (Friday) -- I'll post pics maybe another time -- and had to stop in Fremont to get Jesse's car. We we hit up Border's there about 12:45 and it was still swamped with people. So I took my free glow-in-the-dark necklace-for-nerds thing and we left ... it was too crowded and I knew I wasn't gonna read Harry Potter then anyway. But as we were driving home, I called Jesse, so we stopped at Border's in San Ramon about 1:30 a.m. and there was still a long line, but it was under control and moving very fast. So I got my book! I have to admit, it was kinda exciting to get it then as opposed to waiting the next day (today). Unfortunately, I had to work today (where I am now), so I can't read it yet. I will either start tonight or Sunday.
But I will re-post what Ian said ... I don't plan to read the book in a single 24-hour period like some of you (ahem, Jamie) ... so no spoilers please!! If you must ... an LJ cut would be much appreciated!
