I'm not doing the whole writing month thing though I applaud everyone who is.
That said, I love opening lines to books. I will often read the first line and the last line of a book before deciding if I want to read the whole book (and, in the case of Angels and Demons, I should have read page 23 as well) but that brings to me a thought:
