Title: Momnesia
Beta: shin9095
Pairing: Yunho/Jaejoong
Length: Short Oneshot
Genres: Fluff, Mpreg
Rating: PG
Summary: Pregnancy-induced brain fog existed (and truly was frustrating) and Jaejoong suffered it just that.

Jaejoong was rummaging through the twins’ box of shoes, trying to find two identical pairs of shoes for his girls when Jiyool (or was it Siyool?) toddled and hugged his left leg tight. He found it amusing when the toddler slobbered on his pants.

“Who is this?” Jaejoong cooed, prying the baby’s mouth of the wet patch of pants. “Is this Jiyool? Don’t slobber all over mama, baby.” He knew it was indeed Jiyool when the girl squawked at the mention of her name.

Box of shoes abandoned, Jaejoong heaved Jiyool into his arms, mindful of his rounded belly, trotting into the living room. He found his other twin daughter, Siyool lying on the carpeted floor, slobbering over her new teething ring. It seemed like his girls were into munching lately, chomping everything that their little mouths got around with, his fingers and Yunho’s were their favorite.

Jaejoong placed Jiyool inside the pillows fortress, and she immediately wounded her legs and arms around her twin, mumbling words only they understood. “Be good girls and let mama find your shoes okay.” Jaejoong placed his finger on his lips when Siyool was about to launch into a fit. The baby girl immediately stopped as her mama handed them their plush toys.

With one hand supporting his aching back, Jaejoong waddled back towards the girls’ room, rummaging the box filled with dozens of colorful shoes, with aim to find two identical pairs of Pororo’s shoes for his girls.

“Now where did they go?”

Jaejoong cried in happiness when he did found the shoes.

………

Jaejoong huffed, slowly getting irritated when he couldn’t locate his phone while trying to fend the girls off from traumatizing poor Jiji, his cat. “I know I put it here.” His fingers tapped irritably on the table as if the phone would magically appear in front of him.

“Jiyool-ah, Siyool-ah, did you guys see mama’s phone?” He said before imitating Yunho’s usual hello..hello.. with his hand to the girls.

The twins smiled gummily as both pointed their chubby fingers towards the sofa, having seen their mama left it there. “Papa?” Jiyool (or was it Siyool?) looked at Jaejoong expectantly because hello…hello… meant their daddy.

Jaejoong almost cried, almost, when he retrieved his phone, immediately dialing his husband’s number. Yunho answered on the third ring.

‘Hello baby. What did I do to have your highness’s call at 2 in the afternoon?’ Jaejoong huffed, slightly annoyed. “Baby, do you know where I put the car keys?” He growled when Yunho chuckled at him.

‘You told me to hang them behind the door this morning.’

Jaejoong hang up after letting the girls squealed ‘Papa…Papa…’ on the phone and breathing a quick ‘I love you. Bye.’

“Now where did I put my wallet?”

……….

Jaejoong drove to the mart with the girls strapped down on their baby seats at the back while humming along to the song on the radio. Jiyool (or was it Siyool?) tried to imitate him but ended up mumbling gibberish words instead.

He parked the car and patted his jeans’ pocket, trying to find his phone. “Where’s my damn phone?” he mumbled, mindful of the girls’ excited shriek. “Babies, mama left his phone at home.” Jaejoong sighed before knocked his head on the steering wheel as he remembered that his groceries list was inside his phone.

Jaejoong heaved as he pushed twins’ stroller into the vegetables section, trying to pick whether to buy a beautiful pumpkin or a bag of mushrooms. He took a deep breath, trying to remember some of the groceries he jotted down in his phone, which would be great if he was to remember at least half of them. Well, better half than none. Jaejoong snagged a few fillets of salmon because that fish contained nutrients that was good for brain, or that’s what he felt like eating anyway.

As he was about to pay for the groceries, he realized that he left his wallet back at home, together with his damn phone. He sighed and pushed with precious cargo, the girls included inside and borrowed a random stranger’s phone who had the nicest ass he’d ever seen.

“Thanks whichever lord that I memorized your numbers!” He breathed when Yunho picked up his call. “Now, come and pick me up at the mart. I forgot to bring my wallet.” Jaejoong grumbled when Yunho laughed at his expense. “Well I’m glad I made your day, baby. Pick me up or else!” Jaejoong scowled at the phone after Yunho promised to be there in 15 minutes max and hang up.

“Thank you for lending me your phone, cutie. Once my husband arrived, I’ll pay you back.” Jaejoong beamed at the man, obviously younger than him.

“It’s cool. Never mind that. You have the cutest twins I’ve ever seen. Can I take a photo with them?” The guy, which Jaejoong learned that his name was Junsu, literally shoved his phone back at him to take his photo with the twins.

Junsu bid goodbye after he exchanged numbers with him because ‘You are a nice pregnant man and you can cook, we should be friends. And Changmin will love you more because you cook!’ the man squealed as he hugged him goodbye.

Yunho arrived 5 minutes early and swooped in, kissing Jaejoong chastely before hugging their twins who were squealing ‘Papa…Papa...’ They giggled when Yunho smothered them both with kisses.

The groceries were paid and Jaejoong left Yunho with Jiyool when the man had the nerve to tease him. ‘I’ll take Jiyool with me, in case that you forget that we have twins. See you at home, honey. Or do you need me to jot down our address?’ Jaejoong flipped him off when Yunho laughed boisterously.

Yunho arrived home later than Jaejoong, courtesy of a certain girl demanded that her Papa should buy a pint of ice cream. ‘Share papa. Ice cream, share!’ He found Jaejoong’s car with a door opened. He sighed, bouncing Jiyool in his arm and the other occupied with groceries bags that Jaejoong left to him in revenge.

Later than night when both of their girls were asleep, Yunho found himself with a lapful of Jaejoong, sobbing about his stupid brain. “The doctor said it’s normal to be forgetful during pregnancy.” Yunho wrapped his arms around the male who was leaning on his chest, his sobs ceasing to sniffles. “Nobody’s memory is good if they lack of sleep okay. Plus you have two baby girls to take care of.” He rubbed softly on his pregnant husband’s back, dropping kisses once every minute. “Tomorrow is weekend, you can sleep in and I’ll take care of the girls and the chores, alright?” Jaejoong nodded and cuddled closer, his breath warm on Yunho’s chest.

“I love you, so much.”

The next morning, after a good night sleep, Jaejoong remembered everything he was supposed to and started to boss Yunho around like a drill sergeant, hovering close with everything Yunho did. “You need to separate the laundry into white and colors, Yunho.” “That’s not how you wash the dishes, Yunho.” “It’s the girls’ nap time, Yunho.” “I’m hungry and it’s your fault that I’m pregnant again so go and buy me something to eat because you are not going anywhere near my stove.” “I need a hug, Yunho.” “Why is that drama so stupid?”

Yunho had never been happier when the weekend was over and he had to go to work again.

A/N: Pregnancy brain happened for real (or that’s what I read online anyway). Your IQ doesn't change, but your priorities do. Usually the priorities during pregnancy are filled with baby stuff. Yes, I do my research although this is still boring. I just don’t know how to write and I don’t even have a plot beforehand. hahaha

Let's imagine them as Jiyool & Siyool
