(no subject)
Couldn't put a day's report yesterday because sleep was necessary. So here's a quick summary of the past two days.
Yesterday: KÖLN aka "Cologne" for you commoners. You know, the place with the enormous cathedral. That we climbed.
YEAH
WE CLIMBED THE KÖLN DOM.
JESUS CHRIST MY CALVES WILL NEVER BE THE SAME.
Then we went to the Roman-Germanic Museum, which was pretty neat. They had all this stuff from ancient Rome; statues, mosaics, pottery, jewelry (oh god I almost wrote Schmuck what is wrong with me) and all that other wonderful stuff. Pictures will be on Facebook in two weeks.
I also bought a ruler there.
With a bunch of Roman emperors on it.
NO IT'S NOT FOR ME it's for RB. Did I mention she loves Rome and Caesar (mostly Caesar) to death.
Eis report: GOOD ICE CREAM IS GOOD I had Spaghetti Eis, which is basically a big cone with whipped cream at the bottom, then vanilla ice cream made to look like spaghetti, then strawberry sauce, and grated white chocolate to top it all off. BEST IDEA EVER AMIRITE.
Today: Dusseldorf!...kind of. Honestly I had no idea where I was the whole time. We went to this government building, where out of nowhere we got dragged into a debate about college and something I don't even know but the Germans seemed prepared for it. It was weird. Then we learned about German parliament, which was kind of interesting if you're interested in that nonsense. Then, boat! We went across the river on a ferry to this neato castle, took pictures, went into town a bit, and came home. Not as exciting as Köln, but still cool.
Eis report: Waldfrüchte is ice cream made from currents, raspberries, and I think strawberries and maybe other stuff. I don't know. But it's really good. Even if the seeds are EVERYWHERE and are kind of a pain.
Later, Luba's taking me to a CLASSIC CONCERT I have no idea who's playing or what is being played, but it sounds like fun.
THEN TOMORROW WE'RE HAVING A PARTY. COCKTAILS AND KARAOKE MAN.
Miss you all ;3; COME TO GERMANY WE HAVE ICE CREAM.
