STILL IN GERMANY MAN
So guess what happened in Deutschland today.
~GHETTO MINI-GOLF~
There was this mini-golf course just outside of the city and oh god so cute and so ghetto and aaaagh I wish my camera could work with this computer. Oh well.
Also, GERMAN MATH. This morning we went with our kids to third and fourth period (they still have school, hurr), so I got to see German Math in action. They were learning about sines and cosines and all that nonsense I forgot back in tenth grade.
BUT I DID UNDERSTAND ENOUGH TO CORRECT LUBA WHEN SHE ALMOST GAVE A WRONG ANSWER heeee.
Fourth period was supposed to be German? I think? But the teacher was sick, and the sub...kind of left, so it was more like PARTY TIME and me learning that carrying a conversation auf Deutsch is not as hard as it looks. All you have to do is smile and nod until you understand enough to say something back. Or they speak English. They do that a lot.
And uh. Ice cream. THE ICE CREAM IS THE BEST HERE GUYS. GET OVER HERE RIGHT NOW AND EAT SOME GODDAMN ICE CREAM.
I think that's it.
Oh yeah, and it's my birthday.
