Ghhhhh
If you ever see a band in concert and they suck, they suck.
If you ever see a band at a halftime show and they suck, they probably suck.
If you ever see a band in a parade and they suck, give them credit for just being there. Seriously.
You've all seen parades, right? How many of you have been in one?
It's not fun.
Marching endlessly playing only two songs over and over and over again for almost an hour. Not fun.
The head of my mallet flew off in the beginning and the kid who found it wouldn't give it back*. Not fun.
All this while wearing a thick horrible uniform. Not fun.
At least whenever we played the people watching would dance and clap and take pictures. That was fun.
I just feel so sorry for our snare drummer, she woke up with a 101 fever and still marched all the way through D: She was off the beat almost the entire time but jeez, she has some commitment. Props to her.
*well either that or he couldn't find it but it looked like he did, I couldn't really tell, especially since he was just laughing at me while I was pleading for him to give it back
