Twenty-Five: playing catch-up
So, I owe this journal 24 drawings. I have 21 right now, since it's 4 in the morning and I'm. Fucking. Tired.
I have more, but there are some I actually want to scan before I post. Like my little doodle page of Damian.
So, without further ado, drawings from various parts of this year.
I really needed him shirtless. I wanted him naked, but I don't know how to draw naked men, so you get shirtless. There's some huuuuuge story involved with this, I'm sure. It begins with my MP3 player playing ALL my favorite depressing songs.

The infamous Nenka brothers. These three are why I started drawing on TegakiE. (They're original characters, so they're only infamous to those in the know.)

I think he looks cute, in this picture. I love Cloud the best.
I tend to draw Silas a lot.
The question here is, IS SILAS DRUNK, OR JUST REALLY HAPPY?
I have nothing to say about this that would make sense. ^^;
I think the hands made me give up. This is not entirely crack; Silas is in an angelic vessel bloodline.
I was trying to draw more accurately, and then I just gave up.
This would've been so much fun to finish, but I was working on a school night so I had to go to bed before I got the chance to begin.
I'll admit, I had reference help with this one, though it didn't do me much good as far as the hands were concerned.
He's supposed to be blushing (why I don't know), but his mask gets in the way. XD
The kana there on your right says "Oshakashama", which is the song I was listening to at the time.
LAST BUT CERTAINLY NOT LEAST, OLD-SCHOOL!NIGHTWING.
Though, while I was looking for reference, I saw an even OLDER old-school costume that made me laugh for about 15 minutes and I can't imagine the pictures were serious.
But, uh, yeah. This wasn't originally gonna get color, but then I colored in the stripe, which ended up needing a higher contrast to help it really stick out, so we get color. For the record, I loathe drawing that stripe going down his arm from this angle since I can't figure out how to do it without frustrating myself. >:T
AND AS OF RIGHT NOW, I KNOW WHY. I WAS DRAWING THE STRIPE OFF-CENTER ALL MY LIFE. FFFFFFFFFFFF---

On another ten notes: Feet, hair, noses, his right hand, STRIPEEEE, skin color, shoes/boots, TOO MANY VARIATIONS, depressing music that's actually not-so-depressing, and I kept hearing Damian snarking while I drew this. Something around the lines of "My father let you grow your hair like that?"
