Twenty-Four: Too bad she gave it all away
I meant to say so yesterday, but my number is 23. It's just what I associate with myself, so yesterday's post was kinda special in a not-special way.
Moving on.
I can't really fulfill anyone's wishes at the moment, but I hope everyone gets a wish granted at least.
I was eating Skittles at the time, and thought "Hey, I bet Superboy would eat them."
I had to mention that Dean's air-guitaring Superboy needed an air-drumming Robin to accompany him. I regret ever saying anything about it, since this was the result. I'm sure, had I not tried to draw it as fast as I could to keep up with Dean, it would have been better. As it stands, just no.
Rant will be slightly longer here than usual.
You ever have one of those moments where you create something and you're like "Oh my god, I'm really proud of this! I can't wait to show my parents!!" except what you just created is most definitely something that they'd have a heart attack over? Okay, so my story's a little dramatic, but yeah, I'm proud of how this turned out, even with the flaws here and there. I can't really show anyone though, since they either wouldn't really get it, or they're my parents and kind of don't know I ship guy/guy pairings, or they're homophobic. Granted; I most likely wouldn't show anyone this anyways since this is WAAAAY past the accepted age difference in a pairing.
For some reason, it doesn't bother me between Damian and Grayson. Any sort of Bruce/Robin pairing bothers me, but not this. It can be explained as thus: Dean and Sam are close, really close, but they're not about to bed one another. That's kind of how I see Bruce and the Robins. They're weirdly close to their adoptive father, I get that, but they're not about to turn their relationship to a more serious type of relationship.
Yes, this means that picture I drew for Nightwing's birthday (more for Dean than anything, but hush) really really really REALLY made me uncomfortable.
Explain away the lack of height difference by saying either Damian's standing on something or he grew up a lot, I don't know. XDD
