Last night I rewatched A Study in Pink for the first time, and I loved it. It seemed pretty much flawless.
So I find myself wondering, why wasn't I that into it the first time? I can only assume that they didn't do enough to get the viewer invested in the characters. Now, after having watched two series, I am very invested in the characters. I imagine that Moffat and Gatiss were already invested in the characters. And I haven't had my tea yet, so that's all I'm going to say for now.
