I hate it when this happens
The office cleaner knows my name... but I don't know hers, and the time has long since passed when it would still have been passably polite to say 'I'm sorry, but I didn't catch your name.' *winces* 'tis a bit embarrassing.
Mali and I went up to the park for our second walk yesterday evening: there was another dog there (so we didn't have the place to ourselves! Woe!), called Chico - a golden retriever/border collie cross, about 10 months old. Mali and he raced all over the place, but only Mali would come back reliably*! *is smug*
I have Animal Crossing for the DS, but not really clicked with it just yet (Madagascar: Operation Penguin is proving a lot of fun, still - the levels themselves aren't that challenging, but they're long, and you pick up a fair number of skills as you move along, so I'd have to say it's a pretty decent title, and, indeed, I'm more impressed with it the longer I play). So, anyway, I'm browsing a_c_wildworld and boggling at the turnip market ;-) I should give it another try, methinks, because it looks and sounds pretty cool.
