My lovely wife is due in two days so I've turned down chances to go out to be home with her in case she decides to go into labor. So what does she do? She's out with her friend right now.

Alright, actually, she's the one who pointed out the unfairness in it all. I really thought it was a good idea for her to go out with a friend, she doesn't do it very frequently.

We installed windows in the basement today. The whole process was amazingly easy. We took out the old windows, tipped in the new windows and were done. It seems the harder part is going to be trim. We looked at the Home Depot and couldn't find anything that seemed to quite fit. Will try again tomorrow.

The neighbor also came over to ask if we had a permit for the work we're doing. Not in a bad way, but in a "we wanted to do work but couldn't get a permit" way. I gave them the name of my concrete cutting guy who was paid in cash and didn't ask questions.

PS, this web browser must think I'm Canadian, it wants me to type neighbour and labour.
