REPEAT, THE HOUSE CONCERT IS A GO
On Wednesday, July 9th, aka the day before Readercon, I and my household will be hosting a house concert for the Banjo Apocalypse Crinoline Troubadours. They're a folk-opera-ballad-singer-poet-writer ensemble of great brilliance, and they don't perform together very often, but when they do it's a treasure. negothick and I will open for them as the Midnight Belles.
When: Wednesday, July 9th. Doors open at 7:00, Midnight Belles start singing at 7:30, and the Banjo Apocalypse Crinoline Troubadours begin at 8:00.
Where: The Buttery. It's a private household in Dorchester, MA. Comment or shoot me an e-mail for address and directions. It's right on the Red Line.
How much: Free door, donations accepted. RESERVATIONS REQUIRED. If you'd like to come, you must email me and tell me how many seats to reserve.
What to bring: yourselves, in fancy hats and festive outfits if desired.
Expect to see me bouncing up and down about this for the next month and change. Apologies if we share a lot of social media and you see it everywhere, but really, I want to get the good word out.
