Last weekend was so much fun that I can't really do justice to it with an LJ entry.  Suffice it to say that I sang all morning with negothick on Friday; on Saturday, redcolumbine and I visited the Boston Harbor Islands for the first time, exploring Spectacle and Georges Islands and the fort on the latter, and that we ate some of the best Indian food I've ever had, near ( Read more... )

Three guesses where the Fulbright is for, and the first two don't count! I'm applying to MUN in hopes of doing the folklore program you put me onto. Thanks!

Really, you can't go wrong in Boston, and I'm not just saying that because I am biased. Town's pretty, there's always something going on, and potential day trips are fabulous. I get the impression that most Bostonians never even visit the islands, which is a shame because they are lovely. Sailing between islands is one of my favorite things ever.

Thanks, I can use the encouragement. It's easy to start counting my chickens before they hatch and then go, "Wait, I haven't even finished applying yet..."
