Its a sterek fic or series on ao3 but the only part I remember is that at some point stiles gets bitten by an alpha on a full moon while fighting it and almost immediately kills it. Then stiles doesn’t turn and then chris’s aunt comes to town and reveals that the same thing happened to her (getting bitten and killing her sire before the full moon.) and she didnt really change either
