Look for a fic where either Derek or Stiles (I THINK it was Stiles but I'm not 100% sure) works in a bar and meets a guy who's kind of weird. The reader doesn't know that they have amnesia, but eventually it's revealed that it's a canon-verse fic that only looked like an AU.

If it helps I read it on AO3 and I think it was either late 2012 or early 2013.
