I have to admit, I agree with all of this and was pleasantly surprised!

Antonia really seems to have stumbled in from an actual straight-up drama, doesn't she? No, honey, live it up a little. Especially if you're already dead.

On the opening shot of Jessica crying her eyes out, I fully expected it to be Pam seated across from her; Nan made a surprisingly good substitute! But I do want my Pam back, now that you mention it.

While watching the Sookie "I love you both" scene, I distinctly remember saying "wait, I think I've seen this porno..." Thank you, Brian; this works for us, too. ;)

That swagger Bill seems to have picked up this season really does become him, doesn't it? Still, I'll be needing the king of swagger back, pls ( ... )

Even Maryanne, my least favourite of the baddies, had the camp factor. Antonia seems like she escaped from Rome or something.

It's funny I didn't notice Pam's absence until near the end. Hopefully she'll play her role when shit goes down this week, hmm? Or at least she'll be super happy to get her maker back (AS WILL WE ALL)

It was interesting that none of the weres were surprised by Tommy's skinwalking ability, now that you mention it. Huh...

I bet that kid be a storyline that comes up in season 5. I wonder if they will at least partly do the New Orleans storyline from book 5 or 6 or whichever it was, with Hadley (and Sophie Anne, somehow, please!). It could tie into that.

IT'S ON TOMORROW, YAY.

Yeah, so... done. It is all your doing

Yeah, Sookie's swinging toward Bill felt like a bit of a bummer to me as well, but I did appreciate the wrongness, hotness and overall entertainment value of that dream. I'm glad she had it because that is never, ever going to happen irl, lol.

At the end, I found myself wishing for Eric to kick some serious witch ass already. COME ON, ERIC, WE ARE RUNNING OUT OF EPISODES FAST.

I find it hard to believe the doll storyline is finally resolved. They've been building it up for weeks - I just thought the ghost will put up more of a fight than that, but I guess this is the most time they can spend on a B-plotline, given that The War has kicked off.

Nan was incredibly amusing. I loved her reaction to Jessica's love life crisis! It actually made me wonder how hilarious a Nan/Pam conversation would be. IT NEEDS TO HAPPEN.

I saw a picture from the finale the other day with her and Bill standing rather close and I seriously hope that is not what it looked like. I don't mind them playing up the triangle I just don't want her getting back together with him ever.

I have my hopes for tomorrow's eppy!

Ha, that was so typically True Blood. That said it was surpisingly satisfying?

OH MY GOD THAT WOULD BE BRILLIANT. PURE. BRILLIANCE. They did have that brief little talk in the premiere but that was all about being on camera. The two of them alone together would make my life.

we found out Sookie loves real Eric, not the neutered version

that was totally a relief.

she have the misfortune of following Russell Edgington as a villain... and her agenda is grating as a result.

i couldn't agree more. russell was the pinnacle of villains. he really stirred things up- for everyone. antonia went off the deep end. she had a bad experience with vampires, yes, and at first, i was sympathetic. but she took her anger to the extreme: mass eradication isn't the solution. it makes just seem like a nut.

I hope she comes out of this with a different perspective on vampires, if she absolutely insists on sticking around.

ditto. either get over it or stay out of it. the wavering is getting old. she was in new orleans, she really should have just stayed there.

debbie is great. she's still a little crazy, but she's had some character growth.

have a great week :o)

I meant to reply to this days ago and say hello! We haven't crossed paths for a little while! How are you?

It's a shame Antonia isn't a better villain - even Maryanne had a campiness to her.

I'm starting to wonder if she's going to get turned herself. It seems the only place for Tara to go at this point. Though I think there might be enough vampires on the cast.

Debbie has been such a pleasant surprise, right?
