miss_andromache OMG. American Halloween candy?! Thank you so much! Bloody awesome.

And Brooke, can I squish you again for the Bones DVD and the CD and book? Spells over email and text messages? That sent me into hysterics for ages. Such a cool gift *huggles*

I agree with you about Wilson. The thing I don't get about the whole drug/Tritter arc is that everyone is acting like House is an ordinary drug addict. From the beginning of the show they have repeatedly shown us that he suffers horribly from the pain. Why can no one see him as a pain sufferer whose meds got the better of him? Cuddy and Wilson seem to think the only way to solve his addiction is to cut him completely off -- what do you suppose they thought would happen? Aren't they doctors? Apparently they are VERY DUMB doctors. I have been so angry about the Tritter arc that I have stopped watching -- I'm Tivoing the eps so I can watch all at once. Unfortunately, I succumbed on Tuesday because I was babysitting and couldn't find anything else to watch. I feel sorry for House, though from the comments, I must be the only one. Granted he has been an ass -- so what's new? And I'm mad at the writers for writing such silly stupid stuff -- I really believe they must be responding to the do-gooders who must be complaining because House is a user, sets a bad example, etc. They have Cuddy, Wilson, et al, bowing down before Tritter -- if Wilson was willing to lie to Tritter about the prescriptions, he should have gotten a high-powered lawyer and eaten Tritter's lunch -- detectives do not get to harass doctors. Attorneys slap them with injunctions, etc. and complain to the commissioner of police that they are being harassed, etc. I'm beginning to wonder how Cuddy and Wilson made it through medical school! Eh, that's enough. I just had to get it out. Hopefully no one will read this.

I pretty much agree with everything you said; I guess I justify the Tritter arc the same way I justify the fact that House is actually allowed to practice medicine anywhere: that it's all fictional. (There is no way he'd be on staff anywhere, no matter how brilliant he is, if this were anything but TV). That being said, I really don't like the Tritter thing. You make a good point about House's addiction. Oh, and I am always sympathetic to him. :)
