Hey everyone
just got back from Chaco canyon, located near Gallup/Farmington area of New Mexico. Chaco canyon was the location of an ancient civilization that existed between the years of 800 and 1150 c.e. I have been reading more Hunter S thompson, working with some of the students at Sarracino Middle School in Socorro, and "Staying in work being myself" (Read:Aristotle)
My mom and I went to chaco canyon, and we spent about 12 hours in a toyota prius and at Chaco Canyon. Neither of us had been there, so it was an adventure to even get there, much less when we got there. The construction of the ruins was incredible, the largest of the different structures, 'Pueblo Bonita', was huge and walking through these ruins was a trip. This was my first time going, and I first heard about the ruins in Jared Diamond's book "collapse". I always wanted to go and I finally made it. I have been trying to write more, and I have really increased my reading.
