Saturday, August Eighteenth: We woke up at, what felt like, the crack of dawn. We had a fishing appointment at the Yacht and Beach Club at 6:45. I'm not one for fishing, but I stuck it out. I walked over to the dock when it was still dewy outside and boarded the boat. In the end, I caught the most fish, 7, and the biggest clump of seaweed. S caught the biggest fish. Afterwards, we ate breakfast at Spoodles on the boardwalk. E and I took naps while S watched the Little League World Series and Mr. and Mrs. W did the laundry. After, we went miniature golfing, where I came in second-to-last place. S fell in last. Then, we went to Downtown Disney, where I shopped a tiny bit since I didn't have much money. We got back home and hung around until about 7:30. We left for the Animal Kingdom Lodge and had dinner at Boma, an African buffet. The Animal Kingdom Lodge has its own zoo-type thing. The animals can actually go to your windows!
Sunday, August Nineteenth: Skipping breakfast, we walked right to EPCOT. We grabbed fastpasses for the ride Soarin' and then headed to a bakery and ate a bit. We got in the regular line for Soarin', which took ages and as soon as we got off, we grabbed another set of Fast Passes. Our other set would make us late for our lunch reservations. So, we headed off for our lunch in the Canadian Pavilion. The waitress there was a Canadian named Tracey and she was incredibly funny and rude and nice all at once. She was the perfect Whispering Canyons waitress. The W's exchanged e-mail addresses with her. We browsed through the countries in EPCOT. I took pictures in the United Kingdom Pavilion just for my best friend. We saw somebody get busted for shoplifting. Disney has plainclothes security guards. Now the guy will never be allowed in a Disney theme park again. BUSTED! At 9, EPCOT hosted its fireworks show, Illuminations. There, an island went on fire. It was pretty intense.
