Tuesday, August Fourteenth: After leaving work at approximately 9 pm, I arrived back at my house. I did some last minute packing and said good bye to my family. Around 10 pm, I arrived at the W's, my adoptive family for the next ten days. There, I would wait until 4 am on the fifteenth for everybody else to wake up and get in the car. My temporary younger brother, E, attempted to stay up f or me. However, he fell asleep and all I had was my Taking Back Sunday blanket, a Creative Zen Vision:M, and my camera.
Wednesday, August Fifteenth: A little earlier than 4 am, we all piled into the car and got situated. I, surprisingly, fell asleep a few exits into the express way. I missed all the bridges to get out of New York, which was a good thing. I hate bridges. We stopped for breakfast at a Cracker Barrel and then got back into the car. We stopped at a rest stop for lunch where Mrs. W, my adoptive mother, fixed us all nice sandwiches. After we finished, we hit the road and drove until dinner, which we had at another Cracker Barrel. We arrived at Walt Disney World's Pop Century Resort around 11 pm. We were in the "Eighties" section, where the staircases were enclosed in giant Rubix cubes and the walls were decorated like a Pacman game. Along the roofs were sayings from that time period. The only notable one was "fer shure".
Thursday, August Sixteen: For our first official day in Walt Disney World, we went to Walt Disney World's Typhoon Lagoon, which is a water park. When we got back to the resort, we hung around the pool for a bit before going to Disney's Boardwalk and ate at the ESPN Grill. Then, we went to Beaches and Cream, an ice cream parlor, and then we went to the arcade next door. I had an amazing sundae. I gave in.
Friday, August Seventeenth: We got up and had breakfast at the Boatwright. They had deep-fried French Toast. We checked out of the Pop Century Resort and into the Boardwalk. After getting settled, we went to The Animal Kingdom, which is basically a glorified zoo. Mrs. W and I wore tiaras around the park. I went on Expedition: Everest, a roller-coaster. I love roller-coasters. We went on Kilamanjaro Safaris and saw Mickey's Jammin' Jungle Parade.
(English People sat next to us for the parade...)
