Pokemon and the continuing obession of my little pony, angry birds and my kids
I love my kids. They have taught me so much about how to be creative. They have taught me that problem solving is more than just finding the solution. Its about finding the best way to incorporate the problem so that it becomes a solution. That just because something doesn't seem to fit just means I need to think about it a different way. I joke that my kids are the ones who taught me how to crossover shows and people. In a world where being inclusive to others is so hard to find, its so much fun to watch my kids integrate shows that don't even go together. I know that they will be amazing adults. The differences don't matter to them. All that matters is that everyone has a place to belong. When my son was younger he was obessed with angry birds and Harry potter while his little sister was into my little pony and playhouse disney shows. Rather than just play one idea, they decided to play them all and thus the whole universe was born. As they have gotten older, ideas have been phased out and new things such as Pokemon have emerged to take center stage. We no longer have hogwarts or the famous Thomas the Tank engine that had been temporarily imagined as the Express to take the animals to school. Also Mickey Mouses clubhouse has similarly bit the dust to be replaced with Equestria. However the interests have changed, one thing has remained the same, that no matter the likes or dislikes, my kids have always found a way to integrate their love of playing with each other into everything. My son wanted to explain his universe so I let him. All spelling mistakes are his and I don't correct my kids wonderful imagination. So hopefully his universe inspires you to think outside of your box because if Angry birds can become pokemon trainers and have my little ponys as sisters than you can achieve anything.
All of the above live on Angry Birds Island and Rio. So how it started off is the stuffed animals came together and found out about angry birds. We didn't have angry bird stuffed animals just yet. So they decided to make pretend angry bird costumes of all the angry bird costumes that they knew. Red bird is king(also known as pink kitty). Then the giant stuffed hello kitty is big red/terrance. I know that there is a little cat thats blue bird. Then we made perry the platapus into might eagle. Ellie was boomrang bird. Brown Ellie was Boing Bird. There was king pig, mustache pig, and regular pig. All of these are played by the heart-holding teddy bear, the polar bear, and all the other stuffed animals were regular pigs. For christmas, I got some of the actual angry birds so that I could play with them. I got red bird, blue bird, black bird, and angry bird space black bird. Also a regular pig joined the party. Pink kitty changed back to herself and we added some more friends to the mix. The my little ponys are training in the angry birds universe to learn to capture pokemon, battle pigs and make their evolution stronger. The my little pony sisters are Twilight Sparkle, Fluttershy, Pinkie Pie, Ranbow Dash, and Rarity(we are buying Applejack when it gets released). We had Angry Birds Hogwarts for a while but that stopped when the rule of no boxes on the bed began. Some people might think that is strange. They also have Pokemon battles in which the animals battle each other. The angry bird islands are also my kids beds. Angry Bird ocean divides the islands Pink kitty is the queen. ellie is the princess now and big black is the prince. I love my games, its so much fun to play.
