Voice
I feel like I needed to make one more post. Tonight, my brother isn't home. Therefore, I won't embarrass myself working on my female voice. I found an incredible YouTube video by a transgendered video blogger using the YouTube name karmatic1110. She is both amazingly convincing visually as well as vocally, and she really lays it out in an eight minute instructional video.
This is pretty good stuff. I've been practicing. And well...I have a long way to go. But hey, I also have a long way to go before I need to be doing this all the time. That said, I'm beginning to practice now.
Also, I've found a DVD by Andrea James, a transgender activist who also runs Transsexual Road Map, a kick-ass site for transitioning, planning ahead, learning what not to do, and learning what really not to do, like get vocal feminization surgery (although, some people report good results--I think the consensus is that it's really not necessary if you train your voice properly, and if the surgery is botched, which it often is, your voice will be forever clobbered beyond repair).
