Had a really wonderful, balanced weekend -I felt every aspect of living was touched upon yesterday and today.
I had my Fundamentals of Design class yesterday morning (yeah, class on the weekends... private schools are crazy that way, I guess) and I've got to say it's pretty damned exciting. I'm slowly getting used to the fact that, because of the four-hour duration of all my classes, we're expected to do a lot of work there during the class period, which will eventually get us accustomed to doing work at our actual jobs in the future. I can deal with that, I guess. I mean it only makes sense...it's still a little difficult to work through, though.
Met a classmate named Ferida who's there for web design. Ran into Stephen who I think may be weirded out by me (or was just reacting to the fact that he didn't recognize me coming down the hall, which is why he gave me a weird look, which gave me the weirded out vibe, Iono). Bought more supplies, paid tuition, started and finished my first assignment for next week.
Crisanto got the new Olympus Pen for Christmas/birthday so we went to IB to mess around and make a quick vid while the aunts and my mom messed around at Viejas. Was good stuff he ended up cutting together.
Today the ladies decided to go back (gaahh can these Filipino women be any more stereotypical??) since it was Tita Ambec's birthday. Cris and I lounged about at Barnes and Noble at Grossmont till they called to get picked up.
Did my taxes tonight! Well, my federal, anyway. I'm getting back a decent amount, a bulk of which will go to tuition and paying back my mother ... for covering tuition. Whatever's left will prolly go to food, clothes and weed so that's also pretty cool. No crazy purchases even though I semi OH and tickets to see Lady Gaga if there are any left ... even though I semi-planned on going crazy with electronics. Now that I'm back in school they seem ... irrelevant. Iono.
But good stuff happening here, good stuff.
