Getting into the really hardcore math now, and, interestingly enough, there isn't actually that much math involved. So to speak, anyways. It's all this wierd abstract stuff, going back and examining the fundamental assumptions and mechanics, then messing with them and see what happens on large scales. It's like, instead of using that old familiar x-y plane as your space, you take the set of all second degree polynomials (that is, everything of the form ax^2 + bx + c = 0), and it behaves much the same way. It's really wierd, funky, and abstract. It takes a lot of thinking to do the logical bits, though. My brain are not good now.
...
Wait, why the hell am I learning this stuff?
...
Oh, right, money. Stupid capitalists.
And would it have been worth it, after all,
After the cups, the marmalade, the tea,
Among the porcelain, among some talk of you and me,
Would it have been worth while,
To have bitten off the matter with a smile,
To have squeezed the universe into a ball
To roll it toward some overwhelming question,
To say: “I am Lazarus, come from the dead,
Come back to tell you all, I shall tell you all”-
If one, settling a pillow by her head,
Should say: “That is not what I meant at all.
That is not it, at all.”
