Coincidence?
Today I received an email from Yahoo HotJobs...
It extolls the virtues of working for the US government and then informs me of a job fair in the Seattle area looking for Patent Examiners for the USPTO. All jobs are located in DC it says..
I find it too coincidental that I got this email just a few days after
mimsyborogove left the USPTO. Did Alina's exodus spur a sudden hiring push? Maybe she was THAT efficient that leaving would require a whole "Job Fair" to replace her.
They are specifically looking for engineers and scientists to examine technology patents but still....
