[It's the middle of the night, but that doesn't seem to deter this communicator from randomly turning itself on. It's also dark enough that it's nearly impossible to see anything, just a shadowy, nondescript figure crouching just in front of it.]

"Use this."

[Whoever the figure is, he leans forward to pick up the communicator, the back of the ( Read more... )

One of the more curious newcomers rather than furious. Interessante.

You're related to the others here.

[Okay, he's starting to calm down by now. Really. So now he's more curious about the fact that no one seems to be freaking out completely at the sight of him. His curiosity is keeping him calm at the moment.]

So you know my brothers too, then? ... And you're Italian? [The accent and the word is all he needs, really.]

Then you're from Earth, I take it? And do you mean Knuckles, or someone else?

[Why yes, this turtle is full of questions. He will probably question his brothers for hours if he can about this place.]

Yes, though that does not necessarily mean we're from the same world. Or time.

Technically that is correct as well though I was specifically thinking of someone named Minato. You'll meet him eventually, rest assured.

What time is it where you're from? I'm from the 21st Century. [Why, yes, he's dealt with time travel before. It's one of the many things he's experienced back home.]

Minato? He's Japanese?

1476. When I left.

He is. There is a lot of diversity here.

Oh, wow! [He sounded kinda excited there.] I'm Donatello Hamato. I was named after Donato di Niccolò di Betto Bardi. Have you heard about him? Have you met him? [Yup, this turtle is full of questions. And much happier than he was when he first got here, already.]

I'm beginning to notice that.

[Oh, dear, here we go. Well at least he likes the topic. And the giovane seemed quite happy with it. Giovanni chuckles a bit at the excited questioning.] He did a lot of work in Firenze. He did a lovely statue of David for Cosimo de' Medici that I have viewed several times. He did much fine work in San Lorenzo and the in Duomo as well.

As for meeting him, well... I am a noble from the time period. [Hear the smirk in his voice. Hearrrr iiiiit.]

[Happy is an understatement.] Oh, wow! [Yes, he just repeated himself.] It must have been amazing to see all of it when it was brand new! We--

[Oh, oh he didn't just say that. He's met him. And Donatello's reaction to this is outright glee.] You really met him? And you're a nobleman, too? [He heard that smirk.] Could I ask you some questions some other time, maybe? Like when it isn't in the middle of the night? I've only ever been able to read about Florence, and I've definitely never been to it in my time! I'd love to know more.

To hear that such pieces of art survived for so long is always nice. [He says it casually, conversationally, then pauses to smile to himself before he answers the actual questions.] Yes, yes, and I would be delighted to. At your leisure, signore.

Though I will not say it is a good thing you are here, it is nice to meet you. And I will look forward to our meeting in person, amico. Get settled; then we shall talk again.

[That would be a definite click off right there. He has patrolling to do anyway.]
