Happy June !!!
Wow it's been like a month since my last post! Let's start off by saying... damn it's been a crazy/busy month. The world literally turned upside down and around. But I'm still here and now you get to hear about it. Huddle closer my friends...
Of course all of you know that I've been a crazy house renovating fool for what is it now over 2 months?! Since my last post, the tile for the kitchen and front entry are completed in light bamboo, the laundry room in dark bamboo, and both bathrooms now are marbled. The floors look amamzing. I will totally post pics later. Also the cabinets have been planked to fit, so once I rip off the counter tops... that's it. The house will basically be done! OMG... done, how good that sounds!
Random news, if you are looking to redo a floor... the marble I mentioned in the last post is now over 75% off at $1.14 a square foot (a piece) can't beat that price since cheap tile and some lineolum cost more.
Let's see... other news. I started my corespondence class...meaning I actually started doing the homework. Too bad it looks like I'm going to have to apply for an extension...I don't think I can get done in time. My personal domain has been invaded with more pcs to fix. Dancenhance is still doing well. My parents visits have been better and we all seem to be relieved that things are almost done... Work is going well with me getting to stay rather busy doing projects that I enjoy. Speaking of work... I'll be gone this year for my bday. :( I've got training in OKC from June 13-June 17...so I'll have to figure out something about my annual bday party. Please post party ideas/suggestions.
If anyone is interested, I am going to go to the Oklahoma Video Game Expo in Tulsa on June 18th. Let me know if you'd like to ride with. I'm also thinking that I won't be attending Gen Con this year due to limited vacation days...so instead I plan to go to Dallas to attend Video Game Expo which will on Aug 20-21 and is free. They will be having DDR and Donkey Konga competitions...so I'm excited about that. Again let me know if you are interested.
What else... I went to see Star Wars. I thought the action scenes were great but dang... Lucas needs to hire someone to write script and isn't the whole point of acting so we as an audience feel that it's really happening? I also got to see Les Miserables! It was so great to see Master of the House and Do You Hear the People Sing live. So I get to cross another one off the list. Am highly considering buying a pass as this year's lineup looks great.
Oh the most incredible impossible thing happened! Diana, mom, and I were walking: my mom says how great I've been looking and then states that my figure is now better than Diana. OMG...can you believe that? Yes, Diana's jaw just hit the ground and she says she's not fat! Bless her heart, but all I could say was you know mom's always telling me I look fat. Sadly I took pleasure from that moment and will probably covet it for a long time. You may now say that I'm a bad sister.
Here's the BIG NEWS! I'm moving. Yes, I know that's crazy talk and what about all this house stuff. But I'm moving in like a week. Where to you ask? Down the road 6 miles into the woods (which randomly is a good musical). Expect open house party info soon.
