Particles, energy, Physics and spirituality...

i'm not entirely sure how to start this one.
obviously, the LHC media coverage has given me a chance to do a bit of layman physics research and to (in my own head at least) unify my beliefs once and for all.
cut for bad science, Back to the drawing board. )

when you get down to the sub atomic level, all matter is energy

That's not really true...

yeah, there's all sorts of subatomic particles. It's organized for a bit but then it gets kind of messy.

Also, energy can't imprint anything on itself because it's constantly moving. If it did it would cease to be energy and become matter.

Your fundamental flaw is that spiritual energy is completely different than energy as defined by physics, and you really can't use one to explain or elaborate on the other.

yeah, i know about electrons, neutrons and quarks. and you are right it does get to be a bit of a mess. and i could just as easily say that atoms are mostly made up of nothing (with them being more nothing than the electrons, protons and neutrons. but i keep tying my head in knots ( ... )
