You were right, Ric .....

Peugeot's diesel V12 for the 2007 24 Hours of Le Mans.

In related news, it seems that the two Audi diesel R10s have taken the front row for the race by over 2 seconds over their nearest rivals.... Exciting stuff. I just hope this translates to more sales for Audi, and for diesel cars in general. But I doubt the American car-buying public are really paying attention to the 2006 running of the 24 Heures du Mans.

Been watching a lot of the World Cup lately. Seen some incredible games. I love a good football match, and there certainly have been some. There are a couple of Brits staying here, and watching the England v. Trinidad & Tobago match with them yesterday was quite entertaining. I'm not that optimistic about tomorrow's USA v. Italy match. If the US plays like they did this Monday, they're screwed. Le sigh. I have a feeling the big teams that will come out of this will be Brazil, Germany, England (maybe) and Italy. Argentina's 6-0 blowout of Serbia & Montenegro today also means they're a force to be reckoned with, however.

School is still going well; I'm learning so much... The homework is getting more & more involved. I'm also enjoying (sort of) trying to figure out how to use OpenOffice Impress (PowerPoint clone), which is what we're required to use to put together a final presentation for the Consumer Behaviour & Branding class.

Still no job, still no apartment. But a fellow classmate of mine and I are looking to get a place together. That would be nice. Anything, I think, would be less expensive than the hostel.

Further updates as events warrant. Onward and upward.
