I'll try this again...

So I wrote this long entry a few days ago and I totally clicked out of the site and lost it all so I'll give you some condensed stuff instead...

*Friday--Woke up feelin sort of sick;went to the beach w/ Kirsten, Crystal, & Sierra and swam a bunch; Worked 4-9 & then hung out at Sierra's and got talked into prank calling her camp friends. It was only 10 minutes of middle school fun, but I found it amusing. I'll do anything if I don't know the people.

*Saturday- Worked an 11-7... 8 hours of standing in that stupid kiosk dealing with rude customers. Great.
After work Sara Russel and I hung out for the first time in a while. I finally gave her her birthday gift, and then we went to the canal, because, its the canal. We started walking towards the lakewalk when randomly we ran into Wade, Martin, and some girl named Katya with them. Anyway, we chatted for a while and then it turns out Wade's Nova car broke down way over by Pizza Luce where they were going to a rap concert there. So, I drove them all up to their car on some random side street and tried to jump his car but his car seemed to have seen its day. We ended up having to push his car into a parking spot and left the 3 to walk to their concert.
After that random incident, we went back to the canal and went to Duluth Pack where we randomly talked to Dan Weber for like 10 minutes even though neither of us ever knew him. Then we visited the rocky mt. girls and chatted with them and I realized how much I'd rather be working down there. Next summer for sure. Then we finally decided on going to Hacienda for some food since every other place on the canal was closed to under age people. After parking in Fitger's and walking past a creepy man with a sleeping bag, we find that Hacienda closes completely at 9:00 on a Saturday. Weird? Yes.
So dissappointed and hungry for mexican, we walked over to Baja Billy's. I randomly saw Gary, my old coach too, sitting at the Brewhouse outside with some friends. I see him everywhere, its funny. Then we walk up to Billy's and happily find that its open. We go to eat and the first waitress we had seriously hit on sara and I. It was so funny, after she left sara and I were just like ummm, did that just happen? And the food... well... we ate it, I guess. It wasn't that great, once again. I want Chi Chis back, dammit.
On the way out from Baja Billy's, we randomly see Henry Cowles too. We both politely say hi, and what does he do? Wave his hands in the air as if hes dancing. No sound, nothing. We're like huh. That was weird.
After leaving Fitger's we ran into Ashley O and Alli W driving out of the parking lot. They invited us to a party on hunter's hill or something camping but we turned them down since we both worked early the next day and we're not cool enough to actually go to a drinking party. But we're so cool that we went to Wal-mart @ like 10:30 at night and looked and like everything, including these bizarre t-shirts in the clearance that made no sense. You'd have to read them to fully understand. After Wal-Mart we decided to end the most random night ever.

Saturday night I woke my mom up in the middle of the night for the 1st time since I was like 8 because my ear was crazy painful. It seriously felt like it was going to explode and I had no idea what medicine to take so I had to ask. I ended up taking Kotin, that crazy Tylenol that basically knocks you out. It helped me sleep though.

Sunday morning I woke up feeling horrible, but no. I had to bring myself out of bed to work an open-close shift at the mall once again. I felt like shit all day of course, and on top of a possible-ear infection, not being able to hear out of one ear because of it, coughing, shivering from fever, and having cramps likes none other, I had to stand all day. My poor co-worker had to deal with my complaining all day and asking for frequent massage chair breaks because it hurt so bad to stand even. Ish. It was not a good day. After work I came home and found out I had a 101 degree fever so I had to cancel central night plans and running plans and I fell asleep watching Seinfeld. When I fell asleep, I was under like 3 blankets and had on fleece pants because I was so cold, even though our house was like 90 degrees and beyond humid since we have no A/C. I woke up 2 hours later in a dead sweat since my fever had broken and wow, I’ve never thrown off blankets like that and changed so fast in my life. Ish.

Monday morning I felt a little better, but was still sick. I think I ended up spending the day at home until I had to go to work at 4:00. I got there and found that Robbie, John, & Joe were waiting at the massage chair by my work for free samples. Too bad I was late for work, they had to wait. After work I went home for a bit and then just went over to Sierra’s house and watched t.v. and some british show called the ‘faulty towers’. It was ok.

Tuesday I woke up feeling pretty sick yet again. I wasn’t going to do anything, but my parents were driving me nuts. It was my first day off in a week so I did not want to stay home. I went out to Caribou with Karin around noon which was really fun since we literally haven’t seen each other all summer. She showed me all her Belize pictures and other random pictures and it was fun. She leaves for college soon though, as do a lot of other people. Its crazy.

After coffee, I went home and went college shopping w/ my mom. First we decided to order a Dell inspiron 6000 laptop because the free printer deal with it ended Monday which was a good deal. It hurt the budget a little though, and I had to pay for some of it. Then my mom and I priced tv’s and dvd/vcr players everywhere and I ended up buying a 20” tv from Target and then a vcr/dvd player from wal-mart with my own money. I was excited about that/have an empty bank account now from all the electronics I bought that day. Thank God for Wisconsin’s rent-your-book system. Then we got a lot of stuff done at Target and I bought my comforter, a body pillow, a lime green desk lamp, some meds and shampoos and contact stuff, and that’s about it. I’m excited to decorate for sure. When I bought my tv from target, I didn’t really question if it would fit in my corolla or not, and sure enough, it didn’t fit. So, we had to leave it at Target at Customer Service, drive all the way home, pick up the Pilot, and drive back and get it. It was an annoying process but oh well, it made it home.

After getting home, I went running with Jenna J on the Lakewalk. We ran it soooo fast. Neither of us had ran in a while so we felt like going fast and did our traditional sprint to the lighthouse. On the way back we ran into Joe, John, & Robbie running. They had seen us from the freeway coming back from a race that was apparently canceled. They ended up running with us which was really fast for us, but we wanted to talk to them so we ran with them anyway. It was fun, and we must’ve done that lakewalk in record time. After running I dropped off Jenna and just went home for a while. I called Megan to do something, and since she was already up by the mall we decided to meet at Cold Stone for ice cream around 9. Then I decided to call Jenna P since we hadn’t done anything in a while and she was shopping up there too, but since she had rowing she couldn’t come. I had my usual peanut butter cup perfection. I have yet to branch off from that. After ice cream we went to Megan’s to watch a movie but she forgot she still had to order her computer so we just looked at those for a while and she got a laptop offline. Then we tried to get me a facebook picture but it didn’t upload correctly so it didn’t work, if some of you have seen it, its only like half of a picture. I need to scan in a picture or something on someones computer because I have no pictures of myself on my digital one. I left then since my throat gets dry at night and I suddenly had a huge coughing fit at her house. I felt bad.

Wednesday I woke up and didn’t do anything. I ended up convincing myself to go for a run even though my body was against it. I ran on the roads by my house again with my iPOD and even though it was just an easy 40, I felt so slow. I even got to the point where I had to walk for about 10 minutes because I felt so exhausted. Then I got mad at myself for it so I like sprinted up west tischer which killed me since it was so hot out. Oh well. I hate those kinds of runs.

After my run and showering and such I went to work where the 2 people working before us left Ashley and I with a ton of work to do. We had to do like all the dishes, restock everything, dip these truffles that were like impossible to dip without breaking or looking terrible in the end, and prep 200 apples. The night actually went by pretty fast, needless to say. After work I just went home since I couldn’t find anyone to hang out with. It was ok though, nice to relax. I spent most of the night loading my iPod which I can finally do now since my parts arrived on Tuesday! Yay! It only took the entire summer…

Online though I talked to running guy Adam and at first I was just asking him some more questions about the training plan, but then we ended up chatting for like 2 hours about absolutely everything. He and I may seriously be the same person. At one point out of no where he asked how I knew Tyler since Adam and I are both friends with him on facebook, and I told him we dated last summer but it didn’t work out and he laughed and told me about how annoying he thinks the kid is and how he used to be his distance coach and even hung out with him some. It was funny to talk about and relate stories and stuff and it actually made me not really like Tyler at all, which is good. Like every 5 minutes Adam would be like “You know what else is funny? You dated Tyler.” Then we had a 20 minute conversation about eating crayons but it wasn’t weird at all. I can’t wait now for cc training camp when I go down to LaCrosse, it’ll be a fun time, and I’ll actually know someone.

Now I’m finally up to today, Thursday. This morning I woke up and did my weekly tempo run with Joe, John, Matt, & Greg. I had to go just 3x1000 meter intervals at a pace of 3:50-4:00 which actually isn’t too bad. We ended up doing our guesstimated 1000 meter loops at chester bowl at about 3:25-3:40, a little too fast, but oh well. It’ll be good for me I hope. Then we went to Greg’s house and just watched random shows on tv and played with Greg’s dogs. It was an overall fun morning. And now I get to go shower for work, a random 3-9 shift today, oh joy.
Peace.
