I really need to take some time to clean this house up. I've sort of just let things go around here. Partially because when I have time to deal with it, I have other things to do, and when I dont have time to deal with it, well you get the idea. Procrastination.
I get to do my first 14 hour day tomorrow. And thats just the time I'll be at school either in class or working. That should be interesting. Especially considering I am current running on a sugar buzz that will have me up until at least 12:30.
I havent had an opportunity to formulate an opinion of my professors at MSU yet, due to the rearanging classes, and such, but my LCC class is pretty good. Well, the class is boring because at the moment it is an exact repeat of ECE230, except instead of 1's and 0's, there are T's and F's. According to the syllabus, there are 5 quizzes, 2 of them open book/notes and the final exam is also open notes/book. This is good and bad. But the professor seems pretty cool in a "too old to 100% comprehend how quickly the class could move. He's pretty cool though and up to date on computer related topics though. Bowling is going to be an interesting class. I have never been in a class where I felt more out of place, because as one would assume, the class is generally reserved for the slacker/screw-off student who needs some credits to gradgemeate with.. anything... for a degree. And that stereotype is presented in my class. I cant believe how many people actually cheat on their own score cards. IT DOESNT MATTER. YOUR GRADE IS NOT A REFLECTION OF YOUR SCORES! Oh well...
I need to work some hard core extra hours. This whole coral propagation tank is costing me far more than I anticipated, but I am doing things right, so I hopefully wont have to upgrade any time soon. But at any rate, its costing me more than I have. Fortunately I have an additional 9 hours per week, and due to the fact that LCC didnt give me my override for LCC, I have an additional two days a week that I can close, which is my favorite shift. I also need to get my butt to the CTC to purchase a bus pass, because this whole $1 per day thing is going to ream my wallet of any spare money I may manage to stow away. Money sucks. Plain and simple. Then again, I'd likely be singing a different tune if I had some.
This weekend I'm staying up here. Anyone care to come over for a movie Saturday or something. I'm not entirely sure whats going on, and when, but I think it'd be fun to have people over for a movie or something like that. Humph, who knows, its not like I have the most extensive video library in the world; in fact, I would be willing to bet I've purchased more DVDs for my sister than I own.
Alright, its 11:30, my computer is dieing to get crunching some numbers for the DECS (48615) team of folding@home so I think I'll give in, pass out watching some crap on TV and get some mediocre sleep before waking way to freaking early for class.
