So, I have been working on this darned carbadox project for two solid months. My big boss would really like this done and done soonest. I have been solving problems, but they haven't actually solved the big problem (inability to get a good integration with constant ion ratios.) [This is on an LC-MS/MS, if you care.]
Well, today I changed the ions I was using. The x and half x standards work. The half x tissue works. Consistently. So tomorrow I will increase the in-run cleaning time as well as waiting for forever for the column to clean out. I will run five tissue samples to check the consistency of the integration and the ion ratios, and if that works...whoo-hoo!
After that, I went over to
mzmtnlion's, and we did a raw recording of her first podcast of Sexualitycast. It was absolutely wonderful to see her, and it was an absolute blast to record. I will post where one can find said podcast as soon as I know where it will be.
And now I have had dinner, am watching Mythbusters, and will soon go to sleep. Woot for a really good day!
