The elevator whines as it slowly climbs back to the surface. The numbers over the door flicker on and off, floor by floor. Sera doesn't pay either of these things much mind, more busy with trying to stand upright. Her stomach has turned into a gaping hole, and she feels like she'll cave into it before much longer

As if waiting for their turn, both the Gurr and the Rakshasa make a move for Varnani, hoping to take advantage of her recovery time. The Rakshasa swings its arms, and the Gurr hangs back, opting instead to call on a blast of wind to further knock Varnani off her balance. Maybe the Rakshasa, too. The Gurr probably isn't overly concerned about friendly fire.

Her back is well armored, and after the encounter with the first demon, she's happy to let this one break those rib teeth on those plates.

The Pisaca is still making a pained noise fit to wake the dead . . . or hungry Tuners, as the case may be. The Gurr still has some sense left, at least enough to give the other Atma a sound kick to its middle and a low snarl. This should afford Varnani a little time to deal with the Rakshasa.

This does have the side effect of pushing her deeper into the Rakshasa's mouth, and a mix of spit and blood get blown out of the corners of her mouth in a pained hiss when some of the teeth connect with her skin. Her head thrashes in response, with her jaws still locked around the arm. The sounds coming from the Asura grow more and more shrill, and the air around her grows colder in response.
Her feet end up digging into a slick of ice that forms on the ground to get more traction...Which is swiftly provided as the sheet goes from being flat and explodes into spikes in a heartbeat.

The demon takes a last few shuddering breaths, but even in death, its mouth clings, as if some tendons are still locked firmly in place.
The Pisaca dives back in, barely finding traction on the icy ground. The Atma keeps upright, though, and begins swatting at the ice crystals with its arms, breaking them away so it can reach Varnani without fear of being impaled like it's comrade.
The Gurr is content to hang back once again, and direct a sharp burst of wind at the foot of the ice formation, hoping to dislodge them all at once.

She also doesn't pay much attention to where she's lunging, being more intent on getting out of the Rakshasa's teeth. Her feet hold up well on the ice, but that doesn't change that she's blindly charging towards the Pisaca.

The Gurr's directed, concentrated blast of wind turns the remaining shards of ice into a vicious explosion of projectiles. Not heavily armored at all, the Pisaca is sliced and skewered by the flying ice, but not yet down for the count. The Atma gives its body a mighty shake to dislodge any embedded ice, and gives another howl. The sound is different though; it's sharp and makes the air thrum and vibrate with its violent pitch.

Those ice shards don't slow her down, and feel like little more then a brief flurry of snow to her. The ice underfoot also doesn't interfere with her jump, as she goes lunging at the Pisaca from before. She tries to get a hold on it's neck with her teeth, and her hands go searching for any shards of ice stuck in the skin that she can manipulate or push further in.
