[Today was a good day for Mr. Quinn Hatch. Not only was his technomancy waiting for him under the tree this morning, but there was a package on the porch for him as well. It contained a totally bitchin' turntable set inside! Quinn is positively giddy with these, and as a result today you'll find him

[SUDDENLY, a very small pony comes galloping into the garage, followed by Raz.]

Wait! Come back!

[Stares at that.]

Whoa, where'd he come from?

[ra_ra_razputin]

[Finally grabs it and picks it up before it can accidentally trample any of Quinn's equipment.]

This is Goliath! He's from my family's circus! I found him in the closet. I guess the town decided to give him to me?

[And now that he's not chasing it everywhere he can stop and see the cool new stuff in the garage.] Whoa! What'd you get?

A pony? Pretty cool! Ya gotta clean up after him, alright?

I did pretty well today! Not only did they send my magic back to me, they sent my brand-new turntable too! We gotta throw a party or somethin'. Get this whole town dancin'!

I'd take cleaning up after Goliath over cleaning up after the elephants any day!

You got two presents, too? Wait, magic? What kind?

Yep! Got my technomancy back. Finally feel like myself again!

So what else did ya get?

[Raz is not entirely sure what that is, but it sounds really cool!]

Oh, just my official Psychonaut uniform, but more importantly, what's technomancy? Something to do with computers?

[techno_mancer]

Computers is what I usually do, yeah. But I can talk to and command all kindsa machines. The only computer I got to work with is this laptop, which I can't do a whole lot with here. Ya know, Mayfield bein' the 50s and all. I wonder if anyone else has got a computer returned to them 'round here?

[Wait a sec. "Psychonauts"? The video game nerd part of Quinn's brain finally clicks. Holy crap. ow did he not notice before? He goes to say something, stops, then finally manages to spit something out.]

A uniform, huh? Not too exciting huh. Is it cool-lookin', at least?

You can talk to computers? That is SO COOL. How's it work? What kinda stuff do they say?

[Raz is too excited to hear more about Quinn's cool powers to notice the lull in conversation.]

Well, it's not the coolest looking uniform in the world, but it's what it stands for that's imporant! [And then he does the standard Psychonaut pose. Are you geeking out yet, Quinn?]

Dunno man, I just do it. So long as it's a machine with a source of power.

They're actually pretty talkative. Usually they wanna talk 'bout themselves and impress ya! They also'll tell me if somethin's wrong, and how I can fix it.

[He can't help but grin. First Jolt, then Sniper, now this... Mayfield, you really CAN be cool sometimes.]

[Darn, so he can't teach Raz how to do it. Slight dejection!]

So... what's your computer saying right now?

Well, she's pretty happy to talk to me again, and glad to be playin' music again. No current problems either, and I'm glad. Mayfield has a distinct lack of replacement parts if I ever need one.
