I don't know why I didn't discover this years ago, but now it's official: BLTs are the greatest food ever, tell all your friends. I think I've had like six in the past three days, oh man oh man oh man.
And while I'm on the subject of delicious: saw Braid tonight at the Bottom of the Hill in SF and they owned, that venue kicks ass and I hope to go to more shows there whenever I'm in the Bay Area. Three opening bands was way too many but Chris P and I smoked a tiny spliff out on the street before we went inside and it more than made up for the openers sucking. Also - the guy at the front door drew x's on my hands and now I feel all straightedge and pure.
There are hella people down in SoCal I wanna hang out with/get fucked up and pass out with, especially one awesome girl (cute, too) who I've been talking to a lot the past few weeks (and I love it), now we just need that invisible jet w/ bar to fly us from L.A. to the Bay and back. It's gonna be grand. Anyway, I'm really excited to head back down to SC in like a month.
Bed now - Natalie bought me a book of Raymond Carver short stories for my birthday and I think I'm finally gonna start it, because I want to be a genius just like Mr. Carver. New Yorker, here I come. Tomorrow I'm going to wake up and then go sprawl in the sun for an hour or too, it's going to be pure sex.
