So there's this guy named Brad Bell you may have seen me talk about before. He's kind of a comedic genius, and he created this TV show . . . .
. . . . yes, Nina said "TV show." Except it's kind of actually a webseries. But, you know. A TV-like webseries, and it's called "Husbands," and it's quite brilliant, actually. You can see for yourself at
husbandstheseries.com, which I believe I've linked before. If you're a Buffy, Doctor Who, or Battlestar Galactica fan, you should totally jet over there RIGHT NOW, because the co-writer is Jane Espenson (yes, the chick working on Once Upon A Time, THAT Jane Espenson).
Now the other part: the key word here is "webseries," which translates to "they don't have a whole lot of money and it's time for Season Two of the show." If you like what you see (and to be honest I think I could probably count on not much more than one hand the number of people on my journal who WON'T find this amusing/interesting/etc.), Brad, Jane, and the cast are running a Kickstarter project
here. Minimum donation is a dollar, and every donation helps speed the series on its way by paying for the stuff plain old brainpower doesn't provide, like cameras and acting space.
What are you waiting for? Go watch!!!
