Weekend in LA

Back from a weekend in LA. Saw Erica for the last time before she moves back to Oz after 6 years in LA. She is taking up an awesome research position at Monash Uni. I am very happy for her, sad for me. I only got to see her twice a year. However there is a big psychological difference between her being in LA and Melbourne.

We had a fabulous time. I got my haircut by her punk rocker hair dresser. I HEART Rayzor. I love the haircut. It's the shortest it's been in 7 years.

I also got to Satsang at the yoga center. That was a blast. It looks to be changing, evolving and thriving. I am so very happy about that. I also got to go to fumbling. Just to move and dance with so many old faces was very special. M was there. We connected and danced briefly. We have both moved on - both in our lives and our dance and that is as it should be. He seems to be in a much better place.

I thought I would arrive home frazzled and in need of a break from my break. Fortunately I came home rested and centered. It was a wonderful trip full of endings, beginnings and smiles.

la, yoga, fumbling
