I'mm working on job applications tonight. In my research statement I just misspelled the word "grammar" as "grammer". Ok, see, I am a linguist. I have been studying linguistics for the past twelve years. I have had plenty of practice during that time typing the word "grammar" correctly. That is not a word I should be misspelling at all at this

No, it just proves that lj isn't sending me emails whenever someone comments on my journal! Argh! (And sorry for taking so long to reply!)

I had to switch LJ notifications to my Gmail account, since Cox suddenly started blocking anything from livejournal.com as spam. (And before that, I had to switch from Hotmail to Cox, as Hotmail had started to do the same thing.) REALLY annoying, because I don't like having five million different email addresses.

So it might be your email provider and not LJ.
