So I was checking some books out at Olin when the guy behind me in line starts chatting with the girl behind the circulation desk...she was wearing a shirt that said "BEACH SURVIVOR '81-'82" and he asked, "which beach?" and she replied, "Actually, I wasn't even alive at the time, so I don't know."
Then on the bus home, I overheard a couple of women talking about how Groundhog's Day and Candlemas are on the same day (February 2). One of them said:
Half your corn
And half your hay
You must have
On Candlemas Day
I still don't know when my A-exam is going to be...at first it was going to be this Wednesday but I didn't file the stupid form in time (have to do it at least seven days in advance), then we were aiming for a week for this Wednesday, but one of my committee members couldn't make it, so then we talked about doing it on Friday the 13th (I'm not superstitious) but another one of my committee members couldn't make it then, so now we're going to try for the following Monday...hopefully I'll actually be able to do it before, like, March :P
Heh, they've got a commercial on right now for Paxil, featuring random people dancing around with huge ear-to-ear grins on their faces. ^__^
